John Burris, better known by his youtube name MarioTehPlumber, is an infamous user on Youtube known for his extreme and radical opinions on video games and certain franchises like ''Mario'' and ''Sonic the Hedgehog''. He then entered mainstream status after he perpetrated the University of Quebec massacre in which he killed 45 people before taking his own life. Due to both the massacre and horrific actions and videos on the internet, he is widely hated by many people.

John Burris was born in Montreal, Canada in 1993. In 2010, he made his first Youtube account with the username "Testies125" which only had five videos before he decided drop the account, most of which were of rants on Modern Sonic. In the same year, he made another account called "RichestPlayerInrs" which like the Testies account, was abandoned with a few Sonic rant videos in it. He then decided to make his current channel, ''MarioTehPlumber.''

He also made a few other accounts too including "SONIC1SONIChedgehog" which was merely a backup channel. There was also "MTPMoranGuides" which he made during his feud with Game Grumps and was terminated after John made a really threatening video targeting the game grumps. Another account, "Mariotahplumber" was terminated after uploading a video called "A WARNING TO HATERS!". He made an account called "VegetableKarrot" which only had one video before being abandoned for his original account.

His early videos in 2010 consisted of poorly made and widely hated rants on Modern Sonic games, in which he complained about several things, such as the character design, which he referred to incorrectly as "Hentai". Most of his later videos also consist him ranting about Sega and also Nintendo and anyone who likes current Nintendo games. The newer videos are of higher quality. In 2013 he made several poorly made game reviews in which he rants on Crash Bandicoot and Spyro, he then proceeds to smash both games with a hammer, referring to them as "fucking gay" In 2015 he uploaded a video in which he shows off that he bought 100 Rosalina amiibos, which were in very short supply. He did this because he hated the character and did not want fans to get them and used to poor supply to his advantage. This was his first act which caused him to gain notoriety on the internet. In early 2016 he began to make videos of him shooting guns in the woods. And on November 8th of 2016, he uploaded a video titled: "the end of it all". In that particular video he said he had enough of being rejected by women and mentions the 2014 Isla Vista shooter Elliot Rodger several times, referring to him as "godlike". He then began to read off names of several people he targeted, most were girls. He then showed off several semi automatic weapons and began to yell, swear at the camera and make death threats, the video then abruptly ends. A few hours later that same day, he entered the University of Quebec at around 8:15 AM armed with an FS2000 semi auto rifle, he shot and killed 45 people (all of his targets included). He then got into a gun fight with the police, he was hit in his right shoulder. He then turned into a corridor and fatally shot himself in the head.

His channel still exists to this day, and he has been the subject of several popular internet memes, much to the dismay of the victims families.
